Benjamin T. Dolan, CFP®
Benjamin is President and Founder of Dolan Capital Advisors, Inc.
Ben is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Dayton, and began his financial services career in 2005 in Chicago with LaSalle Bank (now Bank of America Merrill Lynch). There, Ben served middle market and business capital clients as a Treasury Solutions Analyst. In 2011, Ben moved to Charlotte, N.C., where he transitioned to Vice President of Treasury Solutions with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, US Trust, consulting high-net-worth individuals and corporations.
In 2013 Ben completed the College for Financial Planning Certified Financial Planner™ professional education program and passed the Certified Financial Planner™ examination. He is an Investment Advisor Representative in the state of NC and holds a Series 65 License.
Ben serves on the St. Vincent DePaul Parish Finance Council, and assists Sara’s YMCA as a volunteer committee member. He supports multiple charities and is a board member of MiraVia (formerly Room at The Inn). His interests include Dayton Flyer Basketball, Notre Dame Football, reading, and traveling.
His greatest accomplishment to date is his marriage to his wife, Alexa, and the opportunity to raise his four children, Benjamin, Annaliese, Elisabeth and Gabriel. Alexa, a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, provides administrative, marketing, and design support for the firm.
Paula C. Moore, CFA
Paula is a Chartered Financial Analyst. She has over 20 years of experience in private wealth management, portfolio management, investment analysis, real estate investments as well as tenures in venture capital, private equity, public accounting, and multiple years of experience as a corporate controller. After graduating from Towson University Summa cum Laude with a degree in business administration/accounting concentration, Paula obtained her CPA (inactive) in 1984 and her CFA designation in 2005. Paula’s focus is on multi-generational family wealth and the principles essential to building and retaining that wealth.
Paula has served on the board of The Ada Jenkins Center in Davidson, NC and volunteered with Iowa Lutheran Services, Iowa Resource for International Service, and Charlotte Saves.
Paula has been married for 30 years to her husband, George and they have three children and two grandchildren, to date.
Christine joined DCA in 2019. She is responsible for all administrative and operational management of the office. With an extensive background in accounting and office administration, Christine brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the firm.
Upon graduating from King’s College in Office Administration, Christine spent the next 9 years working for a trust accounting software company before leaving the workforce to raise her three children. For the last 10 years, she has served in accountant and office management roles. With a proven track record of success, Christine is always looking to improve efficiency and provide excellent customer service.
Christine enjoys volunteering at St. John Neumann Catholic Church where she has served in various roles over the last 15 years. Her passion is serving the needs of others. She and her husband Brian have been happily married for 23 years.
